Karin Kohler grew up in a land rich with kings, castles, and fortresses. 

Attending school in one of those fortresses sparked her 

imagination, leading her to fantasize about medieval 

life and inspire her story, “The Life of a Princess.” 

Fleeing Communism in East Germany, Karin seized the 

opportunity to immigrate to the “land of the free,” where dreams come true. After retiring, she completed her fantasy story and published a children’s book.
