KARIN KOHLER WAS BORN 50 MILES SOUTH OF BERLIN AND GREW UP UNDER THE COMMUNISTIC REGIME IN EAST GERMANY.
SHE BEGAN HER CAREER WITH (DIA) GERMAN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN TRADE IN EAST BERLIN BEFORE FLEEING TO WEST GERMANY WITH HER FAMILY.
IN RHINELAND-PALATINATE, KARIN WORKED AS SECRETARY AND ASSISTANT FOR A COMPANY TRANSITING TO AMERICAN COMPUTER SYSTEMS. AFTER IMMIGRATING TO THE U.S., SHE GOT MARRIED, HAD ONE CHILD, AND LATER EARNED HER REAL ESTATE LICENSE, WORKING FOR 25 YEARS AS AN ADMINISTRATOR.
NOW RETIRED, KARIN HAS RETURNED TO WRITING, COMPLETING HER MEMOIRS, STORIES, AND METAPHYSICAL BOOK. HER LIFE REFLECTS RESILIENCE, HARD WORK, AND A LOVE OF LEARNING.
